Sacre shines in gallop

Sprinter Sacre “thrilled” Nicky Henderson in a schooling session ahead of his return in the BetVictor Tingle Creek at Sandown on December 7.

The seven-year-old is unbeaten in 10 starts over fences and produced a breathtaking performance in last year’s Tingle Creek and in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham.

He is already long odds-on to defend his Champion Chase crown in March and Henderson could not be happier with his stable star.He said: “He schooled on Friday morning and it’s all systems go for the Tingle Creek. We’re thrilled with him.”
