Hogan fined and suspended

THE stewards were very much in action following the It’s A Student’s Life Handicap at Limerick last night, focusing on Norah Starr, which finished seventh behind The Four Elms.

Norah Star is trained and was ridden by Denis Hogan and the stewards were not satisfied with the explanation offered by him.

As a result of their deliberations the horse was suspended for 60 days and Hogan from riding for 14 days. Hogan was also fined €1,000 and ordered to forfeit his fee.
