Watch the remarkable Usain Bolt story told in a charming cartoon

"Every story has a beginning. This is mine."

Usain Bolt has just shared his story on Facebook by means of a cartoon video, in association with Gatorade.

The animation entitled “The Boy Who Learned To Fly”  outlines the transition of a care-free schoolboy to an Olympic icon.

It tells how Bolt's athletic prowess first came to attention when he sprinted to school to avoid being late.

With just under three weeks to go until the Games, Bolt’s latest post is a reminder of what he has achieved in the past and what he will bring to Rio 2016

Taking the world by storm at Beijing 2008, Jamaica’s national treasure struck again at London 2012, setting a world record of 36.84 seconds in the 4 x 100 relay race.

Bolt has again been named on the Jamaican Olympic team having recovered from a hamstring injury sustained at his national championships last month.
