Time change for Rebels’ Cavan clash

CORK’S All-Ireland SFC qualifier round 1 clash against Cavan on Saturday week, July 11 in Páirc Ui Chaoimh has been switched to a 3pm throw-in time to facilitate supporters from the Ulster county wishing to attend the game.

The match was originally scheduled to take place at 7pm but Cavan county board officials contacted the Cork county board with a view to moving the game to an afternoon start, with 2pm their desired throw-in time. After consultation between the two sets of officials it was decided to play the match at 3pm with GAA authorities in Croke Park acceding to the request.
