Shefflin set to return for Cats

Henry Shefflin could be set for his seasonal Kilkenny senior debut tomorrow evening as the Cats travel to face Offaly in a challenge game in Clara.

The game has been organised to mark the official opening of the Offaly club’s new grounds by GAA President Liam O’Neill and could mark another significant stage on Shefflin’s continued rehabilitation from a shoulder injury.

Throw-in is at 6.30pm and the action will be refereed by Clara native and club vice-chairman Brian Gavin, the man in the middle for last year’s All-Ireland decider. Admission is €10 for adults with children free of charge.
