Brawl probe delays draw

CORK GAA chiefs have delayed the fourth round draws of the Evening Echo Cork county championships until tomorrow week (June 13) due to the ongoing investigation into the brawl that marred last Sunday’s SHC second round tie between Glen Rovers and Bride Rovers in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

The draws were originally meant to take place tomorrow but the decision was taken by the board over the weekend to delay it by seven days. The time and venue still remain the same, with the draws taking place in Rochestown Park Hotel at 7.30pm.
