Gilroy: Sherlock to star for Dubs again

DUBLIN football manager Pat Gilroy has confirmed that veteran attacker Jason Sherlock is part of his championship plans.

Gilroy will cut eight players from his 43-man panel next week.

“He’s in our panel and he’ll be in our panel after the trim down,” confirmed Gilroy. “He’s going to be an important guy for us this summer.

“He has been around the place, he’s been with us at various different things,” added Gilroy, an All-Ireland winning colleague of Sherlock’s back in 1995.
