Red Hands suffer triple blow

TYRONE have suffered a triple blow in the run-up to their Ulster Championship opener against Monaghan on June 5.

Sean Cavanagh and Philip Jordan both picked up injuries in weekend club action for Moy against Cookstown, while Cookstown’s Owen Mulligan is facing suspension resulting from the same game.

Cavanagh sustained an elbow injury, while his Moy clubmate Jordan suffered a dead leg.

Mulligan, who was playing for Cookstown, received a straight red card in the first half.
