Ankle injury KOs Garden County star Glynn

Leighton Glynn’s season is over.

Wicklow’s flying forward sustained a broken ankle and possible ligament damage when colliding with Cian Ward in the county’s defeat to Meath in Dr Cullen Park on Sunday.

County PRO Pat Mitchell last night confirmed: “The ankle is broken and he has probably sustained ligament damage as well. The swelling is still too big to determine the ligament damage but he’ll go into hospital again on Friday morning and hopefully it can be judged then.”
