The Waterford side overcame the dismissal of Wayne Hennessy and Jack Walsh in the first half to defeat Ballybacon-Grange of Tipperary.

Ardmore were just one ahead at the break but two fine goals by Seamus Pendergast and David Gartland were the key to their victory, as their better touch and teamwork got them over the line.

The Waterford side had Seamus Prendergast dismissed before the end but were still too strong for their opponents.
