Houses are priced from €40,000 individually, or in one case four one-bed Cobh apartments for €40,000 for four, all-in, or six two-beds for offers over €180,000 in Castlemartyr, in the forthcoming DNG Cork auction November 10.
The agency is to sell 44 units, in 25 lots under the auction hammer, with a combined value of just over €2.1 million and it comes after a very successful first DNG group auction in September For the nosy, it’s going to be streamed live on the ‘net, but you can only look, you can’t bid on-line.
While many are aimed at investors and are described as asset sales, among the city properties that might appeal to first time buyers is 26 Evergreen Road (pictured), a three-bed mid terraced with long rear garden, guiding €100,000, and 22 Lough Road, at €120,000.
Cheaper still is 6 Saint James Square, off Tower Street, at €70,000, and there’s a new-build three-bed called Avoca in Grange Road, Douglas, guiding €195,000
VERDICT: Lots for all pockets, investors and do-er uppers.
