A neat, compact three-bed bungalow near the national school at Kilbonane, Aherla, just west of Cork City came out of the sale traps this week — and comes complete with two sets of eight dog kennels, used for greyhounds.

The well-kept home is on a useful half acre and has a €250,000 guide with Niamh Moloney of Sherry FitzGerald.

She calls it a little gem, and had open viewings on Monday due to the area’s popularity.

VERDICT: A good bet.
