Rule the roost at Rylane

Meadow Fields, Rylane, Co Cork offers of €325,000 for a 2,500 square foot house.

A NICHE development of just four, one-off houses at Rylane offers big country living for the price of a city semi.

And with prices for the largest of these Meadow Fields houses topping out at €325,000 for a 2,500 square foot property, the value is there, but there is a catch.

The finish is not complete which leaves kitchens and flooring to be completed by new owners, and while some may relish the opportunity to do their own styling, there is a cost involved. Depending on taste and ambition, the price could stay low or enter ‘how long is a piece of string’ territory – so buyers beware.

However, the properties come painted, landscaped and in finished setting near Rylane village, north of Cork city.

In a cul-de-sac setting, the properties are being sold by Tim Murray of Property Partners O’Mahony Walsh.
