Interiors wish list...

It’s the colour that grabbed our attention in this sweet little tweetie bird. We love the rustic vibe too. It’s €2.50 from

We are loving the luxury of these wool throws — and the fact that they are from an Irish lifestyle brand.

Foxford Woollen Mills, Co Mayo, have a huge range of throw options in a range of styles, wools and colour palettes. My favourite is this white petal mohair cut fringe style. It’s €100.

Tk Maxx’s interiors store, Homesense, have this little burst of sunshine for €16.99. We love the mix of orange and yellow in the glass vase. Sunflowers would look awesome in this, right?

Homesense is due to open in Cork at the Capitol development on June 15. We can’t wait.

Niall O’Neill is a Cork artist who recently exhibited in The Maclise Art Society Annual Exhibition in CIT. He has been been painting in pastels for more than 20 years, and has exhibited in Ireland, and in France, and was recently invited to exhibit at an International Biennial in China.

He’s a member of the Corks Arts Society and his work can be seen in the Lavit Gallery, Father Matthew Street, Cork. We love ‘A Man and His Dog’, it is for sale at €900. Check out his art blog for more info.

Check out this blackberry seed, Irish linen table runner, from Dundalk-based artist Sarah McKenna. The range is hand screen printed onto 100% plain natural Irish linen.

“The idea for table linens to complement my handmade pottery and dress my informal dining space has been running through my mind for many years now. I wanted to use the patterns from my pottery to print onto traditional Irish linen.

“I knew that a simple table runner would dress my table but still survive the goings on of a house of messy boys.”

We love her transition from clay to cloth. Sarah’s work is available in almost 60 stores nationwide, internationally and on her own store online,

Our online pick this week is this very funky Nevada lamp table, made from marbled ceramic and mounted on glass.

It’s €340 from
