Over one dozen lots are expected in Wednesday next’s DNG Munster auction of mainly residential investments, in Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford, along with a number of holiday home investments, some guided from just €10,000 in East Cork.
And, the following week, May 25, Allsops will hold their largest-ever Irish online auction, with 85 lots spanning residential and commercial, with about 20 commercial properties to go under the ‘virtual hammer.’
Several of the properties in the May 18 DNG Cork-based auction (streaming live online) have current incomes, such as holiday homes in Shanagarry guiding at €67,000 and earning €6,000 pa in rent, while several Redbarn apartments have AMV’s from just €10,000.
Most expensive of the 14 lots is a two-story/duplex apartment of close to 1,000 sq ft at Eden, Blackrock, with a €150,000 AMV.
Also offered is a 1,600 sq ft bungalow at Modeligo, Waterford, guided at €70,000, a do-er upper in Passage, Cork harbour, with big gardens guided at €25,000, two Waterford mews houses of 900 and 1,000 sq ft at Ballinaneashagh, guided at €80,000, and a 2,000 sq ft period home in Blennerville, Tralee, guided at €75,000.
DNG Creedon’s Shane Creedon said they will follow with a further auction on July 21, with further dates from September to December to follow.
Meanwhile, with Allsops Munster highlights include the hybrid Unit 39 in the Eastgate Business Park, Little Island, Cork, with 2,500 sq ft, including office accommodation. It’s currently let, at €14,000 pa, with a reserve range of €140,000-160,000.
In Upper Irishtown, Clonmel, Tipperary, a retail investment, with office building and three warehouse buildings has a current rent of €25,000 pa and a reserve guide of €150,000 - €170,000.
In East Cork, Unit 4, Nordic Enterprise Centre, Knockgriffin, Midleton is a modern 1,880 sq ft warehouse unit with a reserve range of €40,000 to €50,000.
Elsewhere, in Dun Laoghaire, no 63 Upper Georges Street is a retail unit with two-bed apartment, earning €24,000 pa and guided at €210,000 to €230,000.
Some 25% of the 85 online Allsop lots are in Dublin.
Similar to the DNG range, the Allsop auction has houses and apartments, many in coastal or holiday locations. Highlights include a detached three-bedroom house on the shores of Lake Mask, reserve range €170,000-€180,000; and an end of terrace four bedroom house beside the beach in Culdaff, Co. Donegal, reserve range €75,000 - €85,000.
