NUMBER 32 The Crescent – is a pretty house, with masses of appeal, and this classic semi has plenty of other things going for it too.
First, there’s the Beaumont address – solidly Cork southside in the Blackrock/Douglas axis and then, the immediate location is also good, as the house is in a settled and quiet park.
Then, there are the gardens, all lush and mature. Lastly, there’s the size and potential of the property.
According to Conor Flynn of Conor P Flynn and Associates, it has great character with its unusual bow windows and cute entrance porch. The back garden has room for an extension which would add to the usual, two reception, three-bed layout.
The house has a good living room to the front, again with bow windows and has polished timber floors, a feature fireplace and picture rails.
Next door is the dining room, (knocking through is an option) and then a kitchen with fitted units, this is 14’ by 7’ and could be extended. There is also a small pantry.
Overhead are three bedrooms with cast iron bath in the main bathroom and to the side there’s a garage. With its hipped roof, climbers and bow windows there’s a very Surrey Downs feel to No 32 The Crescent, and that’s unlikely to be lost on viewers – of which, Conor Flynn says, he has many at the moment.
The guide price for the property is in the region of €400,000.
