Fire brigade come to aid of person impaled on fence at Phoenix Park

Firefighters came to the aid of someone who was impaled on a fence in the Phoenix Park in Dublin earlier.
An advanced paramedic team got to the scene on Chesterfield Avenue around 4pm this afternoon.
They treated the casualty for a penetrating wound.
Paramedics were able to give strong painkillers at the scene before taking the person to hospital.
Dublin Fire Brigade says they are expected to make a full recovery.
