Arlene Foster rules out attending Kenny-hosted Brexit forums

The North’s First Minister Arlene Foster has ruled out attending any future Brexit forum held by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, saying the North and South are in competition with each other.

Ms Foster, speaking in Government Buildings, said she has made her views known in terms of the forum and she would not be changing her mind on that.

Despite her very public slapdown of Mr Kenny over the forum a couple of months ago, she denied relations between Dublin and Belfast are frosty, saying that was just a perception that has grown in the media.
