Renault has revealed the first images, and announced the arrival of the new Megane Grand Coupe.

With the new hatchback version of the Megane having just gone on sale here and the Sports Tourer version coming very soon, the latest model in the Megane family is this Grand Coupe, a four-door saloon which is a key part of the renewal of the Renault range.

Renault says the ‘dynamic and prestigious’ styling of the new car is reflected in sculpted surfaces, well-balanced proportions, a Renault-family front end, and a distinctive C-shaped front lighting signature.

We are told two diesel engines will be available in Ireland: dCi 110, available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or the EDC 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and the dCi 130, also available with a 6-speed manual gearbox. We will have more information on prices and specifications in due course.
