Dacia has reached the milestone of three million vehicle sales in the space of barely ten years. And 2014 is turning out to be another good year for Dacia which saw its first-half sales expand by 24.4%.
The brand can claim to have the European market’s youngest vehicle line-up and sales are up in all the region’s countries. It also registered the highest increase in Europe (36.2%) in the first six months of 2014.
Since the launch of Dacia in Ireland less than two years ago, almost 4,000 new Dacias have been sold, and the brand is now Ireland’s fastest growing car brand.
According to Patrick Magee, Country Operations Manager, Dacia Ireland: “We are very proud of how successful the brand has become since its launch here 21 months ago.
It does what it says on the tin, which is no nonsense motoring and gives the customer what he/she needs, for an affordable price, and this is testament to the nearly 4,000 customers we have on our roads today.
“It’s a great range, from 4x4, to crossover, to estate and Ireland’s most affordable car, and Dacia customers include Irish families of all sizes, taxi drivers, small business owners and city dwellers who made a clever and smart choice to buy Dacia.
