Former Minister for Justice Alan Shatter has said he still does not understand why Government-commissioned barrister Seán Guerin went out side his terms of reference in his report into allegations of Garda misconduct by Sgt Maurice McCabe.
The High Court has struck out proceedings by retired garda sergeant Maurice McCabe and his family against the State, the HSE and the Tusla/Child and Family Agency (CFA) following successful mediation talks last week.
