South Africa’s ruling African National Congress (ANC) party has held crisis talks to discuss the fallout from a court ruling last week that South African president Jacob Zuma flouted the Constitution, triggering calls for him to resign.

South Africa’s parliament will debate tomorrow a motion to impeach President Jacob Zuma, National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete said yesterday, after a top court ruled the president had violated the constitution.
