A consulting company has told the High Court that billionaire businessman Denis O’Brien has left “clouded in mystery” exactly how material from the firm’s computer files ended up on a USB stick placed in an envelope sent anonymously to Mr O’Brien.

GARDAÍ have been ordered to arrest solicitor Michael Lynn and bring him before the High Court this morning for failing to comply with an order requiring him to answer questions in court about property dealings that have contributed to his estimated liabilities of €80 million.

ULSTER Bank has secured orders from the Commercial Court requiring solicitor Michael Lynn to repay loans of about €6.3 million while Mr Lynn’s wife is resisting application for judgment for some €7.6m against her on grounds including a claim that banks have a duty of care to customers.
