House prices rose at their slowest pace in six years in the 12 months to May, according to the Central Statistics Office.
Average house prices in Dublin city and county fell by more than 6% in 2015, according to the latest national survey carried out by Real Estate Alliance.
UK house price growth accelerated to a six-month high, according to the UK Nationwide Building Society, as a separate report showed mortgage lending rising by the most since 2008.
