The horses are continuing to run well and I’m looking forward to a busy, exciting couple of days.

We are coming off a desperate bout of seconditis at the moment, with four horses going very close but just not having their heads in front on the line in the past week.

Another outstanding Cheltenham came to an end yesterday and while we didn’t get the result we were hoping for, there were plenty of feelgood stories regardless.

You have to enjoy it when the horses are going well and, with three winners in the past week before last night in Dundalk, I am certainly not complaining. In fact four out of my previous ten runners came up trumps so that’s a percentage you’d have to be happy with!

The big news from Commonstown today is that we are losing Dragon Pulse, who will race in France for the coming year.

I WAS happy with Oscars Well in the Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown last Sunday.

THE Morgiana Hurdle has cut up quite a bit which is a pity. It’s a real trappy race and I’m not quite sure what is going to make the running which is a bit of a worry as Oscars Well would like a proper pace.

CHELTENHAM seems a bit of a faint memory now and I’m well down from cloud nine after Bostons Angel’s brilliant success in the RSA Chase.

We’re coming off a great week’s work at last and it’s brilliant to be able to say that after the period we’ve had with the weather.
