The state-owned Dublin Port Company (DPC) had sought orders against McQuaid O’Flanagan Warehousing and Transport Ltd and one of its directors, Mr Gerald McQuaid, including one to seize the company's property, over a failure to comply with a court order.

The High Court has ruled the Dublin Port Company (DPC) is entitled to possession of property which had been leased to a haulage company of businessman Simon Crosbie, son of Harry Crosbie who once had large interests in the docklands.
