The people of Cork pledged €22,000 in 60 minutes to send a seven-year-old girl to England for important medical tests after hearing her heart-breaking story on RedFM.

Clear guidelines need to be set out on whether children under the age of 18 have the right to refuse consent to medical treatment, the Government-appointed rapporteur on children’s rights has said.
