A former Church of England priest has been jailed for 12 years for a string of sexual offences against two boys dating back to the late 1980s.

A former Church of England priest jailed for child sex abuse dating back more than 25 years has been banned from ministerial practice for life.

Police investigating allegations of sex offences against boys and young men by a retired Church of England bishop said seven more people have come forward claiming they were abused.
