Irish commercial diving expert Eoin McGarry has dived on the wreck of the RMS Lusitania more than anyone else alive. Since his first dive on the wreck over 15 years ago, he has spent more time than anyone else in and around its deck, in pitch darkness 90m below the waves some 18km off the Old Head of Kinsale in Cork.

THE Lusitania liner took just under 20 minutes to sink off the coast of Cork 95 years ago this month, but the memory of the devastating loss of over 1,100 people continues to live on in Cobh where remembrance wreaths were placed on mass graves at a cemetery in the town yesterday afternoon.
