A multi-million euro private medical investment at Cork’s historic Lotamore House has just come to completion, after an 18-month-plus gestation.

A PAIR of very large, formerly grand Victorian semi-detached houses on 1.4 acres at Cork’s Montenotte are for sale after the company that had planned to develop them for a private secondary school got into difficulties.

The elegant, 210-year-old Lotamore House on 14 acres with views of Cork city’s marina was a guesthouse for 20 years. It’s price of €1.3m (it previously sold for €3-4m) reflects the cost of upgrading.

New figures released today by the National Lottery show Ireland is a nation of gamblers with 63% of the population regularly buying a lottery ticket.
