The poor benighted Douglas village in Cork has been in the wars once more, flooded not too many years ago and now recovering from a fresh trauma in the wake of the terrible fire that has left the Douglas Shopping centre temporarily closed.
The car company said it has offered the investigation team every assistance required as the probe focuses on whether an Opel Zafira was the cause of the intense fire at the Douglas Village shopping centre carpark on Saturday night.
Diarmaid Condon Moneygourney is a popular residential area on the southern side of Cork city in close proximity to Douglas Village, Rochestown and the south ring road network.
