James O’Leary founded the band Interference with the late vocalist Fergus O’Farrell. The remaining members of the band will be joined by special guests for a gig at Cork Opera House tomorrow night as part of the Right Here Right Now series of concerts at the venue over the weekend.

Here's a scary thought - it's been almost 20 years since Toy Story hit cinemas in November 1995. Not only was it a great film in its own right but it also single-handedly birthed Pixar and the CG animated movie as we know it today.

For the first time in its 30-year history, Graffiti Theatre Company is collaborating with the Cork Opera House. The company, which produces drama for young people, is staging Where in the World is Frank Sparrow? at the venue’s Half Moon theatre from February 25-March 8.
