A steady stream of famous faces tonight visited the family home of broadcaster Gerry Ryan ahead of his funeral, where boyband Westlife are expected to perform.

RTE have confirmed that Gerry Ryan’s funeral will be broadcast live on 2fm because of the enormous response from fans since his death.
