¦ Coachford flower and garden club are hosting a Christmas demonstration: ‘Have yourself a very Merry Christmas’, with Margaret Ahern, in the Village Inn Coachford, on Dec 4, at 8pm.

¦ Fermoy Flower and Garden Club will hold their annual Christmas gala on Tuesday, Dec 3 at 8pm, in the Adair Hall, with Margaret Ahern, AOIFA. Tickets €10, with proceeds to the Blackwater Day Care Centre and the World Show 2014.

¦ Youghal Flower and Garden Club present: ‘The Beauty of Christmas’, a demonstration, with Malcolm Kitt, on Thurs, Dec 5, at 8pm, at the Walter Raleigh Hotel. Club competition on the night; all welcome.

¦ Ballincollig Flower and Garden Club will have a Christmas workshop, for members only, in Oriel House Hotel on Monday, Dec 2, at 8pm. Members please bring a non-perishable item for Christmas charity.

¦ Kanturk Flower and Garden Club will host a Christmas gala demonstration on Wednesday, Dec 11, in the Temperance Hall, Strand Street, with floral artist, Malcolm Kitt. The Christmas demonstration, ’Pastiche Noelle’, starts at 8pm. Admission €10, in aid of Kanturk hospital.

¦ Clonakilty Flower Club will host its Christmas demonstration, with Rose Hickey AOIFA, on Monday, Dec 2, in Fernhill House. The club is also hosting a mini Christmas show. Viewing for the show at 7pm and demonstration at 8pm.

¦ The Pavilion Garden Centre, Ballygarvan, will host a Christmas market over two weekends — Nov 30-Dec 1, and Dec 7-8, from 11am to 6pm. Over 30 antiques, craft and artisan food stands will be in place. Also Santa Claus, school choirs’, children’s entertainment and animal crib. Supporting Irish Guide Dogs. ¦ Bantry Flower Club presents Chris Bailey who will be demonstrating at the Westlodge Hotel on Monday, Dec 2, with proceeds of raffle towards WAFA. Members €2, visitors €7, coffee, tea and mince pies served.
