West Cork-based Etain Hickey has invited eight artists to show in an exhibition called ‘Departure Point’.
The artists were invited to interpret this theme in any way they wanted. The materials are as varied as the artists from wire, enamels, ceramics to felting and mixed media.
“It is interesting to see that there has been a sea theme creeping in, but I suppose thats not so surprising when we live along this Irish coast, be it in Dublin or West Cork,” Etain tells Wishlist. We love this Geraldine Murphy’s Let’s Go! Ar Aghaidh Linn.
