Antique furniture, including a 19th century three-door library bookcase, a Regency card table, and a William IV library table will come up at Hegarty’s sale in Bandon on Sunday week (June 12) at 3pm. 

The sale will include contents from the Old Rectory at Douglas in Cork, as well as items from collections in west Cork.

The bookcase is estimated at €3,000-€5,000 and the card table and library table at €2,000-€4,000 each. 

Other lots of note include a fine 19th century pier mirror (€2,500-€3,500) and a pair of 19th century mahogany library chairs (€1,200-€1,800).

Collectibles include silver and lamps, along with 20 lots of jewellery and 40 lots of art.

An oil on canvas by Arthur Maderson has an estimate of €5,000-€8,000. 

Viewing at Hegarty’s auction rooms on The Bypass, Bandon, is from noon to 5pm next Friday and Saturday, and from noon on the day of the auction.
