1,200 lots going under the hammer in Dublin

MORE than 1,200 lots will come under the hammer at a two-day, on-the-premises auction in Dublin.

Matthews of Oldcastle, will be at 15 Royal Terrace, Dun Laoghaire today and tomorrow, offering lots from a number of properties and estates.

The sale will include everything from cast iron foot scrapers to Regency engravings, from a Victorian overmantel to antique furniture and a single owner collection of antique silver; a small library of antiquarian books, as well as jewellery and collectibles.

The auction starts each day at 1.30pm with viewing from 10am today and tomorrow.
