ELEPHANTS’ BIRTHDAY

With more than one million visitors annually, Dublin Zoo is Ireland’s most popular family attraction and a visit to the home of the Asian elephants at the Kaziranga Forest Trail is always a favourite among visiting families.

Next weekend the zoo will celebrate the second birthday of its elephant calves Kavi, Ashoka and Samiya.

To mark this special occasion, from 11am to 5pm on August 20 and 21, there will be informative keeper talks, music on the lawn, arts and crafts, face-painting and other fun activities for all the family.
