BIG TODDLE: Barnardos Ambassador Tom Vaughan Lawlor joined a group of toddlers last week to launch The Big Toddle for Barnardos sponsored by Toddlebox.

During May and June thousands of toddlers across Ireland will be taking up the challenge to toddle a half-mile and raise €250,000 for the children’s charity.

This year’s theme is ‘animals’ and you can register your little lion, tiger and bear cubs for a fun sponsored walk at www.barnardos.ie/bigtoddle

If you can’t toddle but would like to support Ireland’s Big Toddlers, text TODDLE to 50300 to make a €4 donation to Barnardos.

FRIDGE REMINDER: It’s a familiar sight in most homes: Shopping lists, school timetables and doctors’ appointments all stuck to the door of the refrigerator with magnets.

Miele is now offering an alternative with the new ‘Blackboard Edition’ of the K20.000 range of free-standing fridge freezers, €1,599.95.

The door can be written on with school chalk or liquid chalk markers, is easy to wipe clean and designed with young families in mind; www.miele.ie
