The Taste of West Cork Food Festival has established itself as one of the best in the country.
The line-up is again stellar, but what we love is the island action.
From Sherkin (pictured) to Cape Clear, Garnish to Bere, there are foodie events scattered across the south coast this weekend.
There’s a Taste Tour on Bere, Derry Clarke will be hosting a BBQ on Sherkin - plus much, much more.
PJ Gallagher, Neil Delamere, Deirdre O’Kane, David O’Doherty, Eleanor Tiernan... Ireland’s top comics will perform on September 16 at Vicar St.
And the best part? Proceeds go to Poppy’s Wheels, a charity to assist nine-year old Poppy (above), who has cerebral palsy.
Her parents are also raising funds to bring all terrain wheelchairs, hippocamps, to Ireland so families with children in wheelchairs can enjoy days out at the beach or the forest.
Funds will also go to the parents’ associations of two special schools to help them run summer camps.

Known for its make up, Bobbi Brown has been making great strides with skincare too. We got a sneak preview of the new Extra Repair Nourishing Milk, on counters October 6.
It’s got the hydrating effects of the Extra Face Oil, with the rejuvenating benefits of a repair treatment. The milky formula is silk-like, with the sweet smelling combination of sesame, almond and jojoba oils.
It locks in moisture post serum for radiant skin.
