We are a little bit in love with Chupi, the Irish designer making delicate gold jewellery inspired by the beauty of natural and wild things.

“I was the kid covered with glitter and glue, the one making some new crazy things out of papier mache, but I never thought I’d end up making beautiful sparkly jewellery as my job,” she says.

“Aged 17 I sold my first piece, vintage Levi’s turned into a gorgeous bag, lined with bright pink satin and adorned with a rose. I was hooked.”

At 21 she was scouted by Topshop from her first year of college, the youngest designer to ever to work with them.

The jewellery began as a hobby, making the pieces she wanted but couldn’t find. A friend asked for a piece, a stylist loved a ring and suddenly she was a jeweller, with celebrities including Marina & the Diamonds to Ruby Wax wearing and loving it.

Chupi has just launched at Weirs. For a full list of stockists see

You know that natural, next-day hair we all crave but can’t attain? Well now you can, thanks to Bumble and bumble Surf Infusion (€30 for a 100ml bottle).

On the market since May, we just got a chance to put it to the test and we’re a little bit addicted. One spritz and you’re set.

Once upon a time, stylists sprayed sea water on models’ hair. These days they just need Surf Infusion in their kits. And the added bonus? No dried out hair.
