My favourite venue: Maynes Pharmacy and the Crane Lane, Cork City.

The writer/artist/musician I would most like to meet: (Deirdre) Chavela Vargas. (Sally) Sigmund Freud, if he were alive.

Bio: Deirdre is a student on the MA Art and Process in Crawford College of Art and Design. In 2008, she graduated with a BFA (hons) in sculpture and environmental art from Glasgow School of Art, and the National School of Paint, Print and Sculpture, ‘La Esmeralda’, in Mexico City. She was awarded an artist’s bursary by Cork County Council in 2010 and completed a two-year residency with Cork Film Centre in 2011.

Sally is also a student on the MA. She received a BA (hons) in fine art from Middlesex University, London. She has worked for various institutions and art organisations, including Ledri School of Art and Design, Cyprus, and Matt Roberts Arts, London. She co-curated Trans-art Festival of Contemporary Art, Cavan 2012. Sally is a recipient of the Thomas McLoughlin Memorial Award (2007).

Current show CIT Crawford College of Art and Design, Outbox, MA Art and Process show, ground floor (School of Architecture), 9/10 Copley Street, Cork.
