Netflix has released first-look images of its new historical drama, House of Guinness, which explores one of Europe's most famous and enduring dynasties - the Guinness Family.

Created and written by Steven Knight, the writer behind Peaky Blinders, the new drama follows the rise of the Guinness family during the 19th Century to become the iconic brewery that’s become a mainstay in pubs across the globe.

The story begins immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.

On Monday, Netflix released the first images of the series’ cast, which includes Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, and Dervla Kirwan.

The streamer also confirmed on Monday that House of Guinness will be released on Thursday, September 25.
