Students from around the world have voted the University of Limerick as providing the best student experience, best student support and warmest welcome.
UL achieved multiple firsts in the survey which received input from more than 5000 international students currently studying across the countries seven universities.
The International Student Barometer survey was undertaken by independent group i-Graduate and involved 238 institutions worldwide.
Across the four surveyed categories of “living”, “support”, “arrival” and “learning”, UL was voted as having the best overall living experience in Ireland and the fifth in the world.
The Limerick college was also voted the most supportive university among international students, who also voted UL’s support services as being the best in Ireland.
Josephine Page, director, international education, UL said: “Overall, the satisfaction ratings of the international students studying at the University of Limerick were outstanding.”
UL also scored first out of 238 institutions worldwide in the categories of “social activities”, “opportunities to experience Irish culture”, “social facilities”, “accommodation office”, “clubs and societies”.
The college’s international office, learning support, language support, learning spaces, IT support and catering services were also highlighted for exceptional merit.
