Over 50 firms nominated for Cork northside awards

More than 50 nominations have been received from across the northside of Cork City for the first Northside For Business Awards.

The list of nominations were announced at a function in the Heineken Brewery and those shortlisted include representatives from the retail, service, hospitality, and other sectors.

Adrienne Rogers, Cork City LEO (Local Enterprise Office) and chair of the Northside For Business Steering Committee said they were delighted to see the extensive interest and nominations for the awards.

“It is a new initiative developed to recognise the variety and quality of the businesses on the northside of Cork and the contribution that they make in the community and the economy here.”
