One killed in Roscommon crash

ONE man was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Roscommon last night.

The incident happened on the Boyle Road in Frenchpark at approximately 6.20pm.

The four occupants of a car, two men and two women, were brought to Roscommon Hospital after the car in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a van.

One of the men, aged in his early 70s, was pronounced dead in the hospital.
