Military exercises announcement

DEFENCE Forces personnel will take part in a major military exercise in South Tipperary and north Cork next week.

The public has been advised to expect the movement of large groups of armoured vehicles between Monday and Thursday, but especially on the Tuesday morning, in the areas of Kilcoran, Ballyporeen, Araglin and Kilworth military ranges.

Military helicopter activity is also expected around Kilcoran and north of Araglin. The exercise will also include the use of simulated explosive charges on military lands.
