Murder probe: 10 people freed

TEN people arrested over the gangland-style killing of a man at the weekend have been released without charge, gardaí said.

Seven men and three women were questioned about the shooting of Sean Winters outside the gated Links apartment complex in Portmarnock, north Dublin, where he lived.

“Files will be prepared for the DPP,” said a Garda spokesman.

Mr Winters, in his late 30s, had ties to a north Dublin gang involved in drugs, but one line of investigation centred on a turf war over pub security.
