Man charged with murder

A LITHUANIAN man has been charged in Dublin with the murder of a Ukrainian who died following a fatal shooting in the North last month.

Dmytro Grysunov was shot dead during a clash between two groups in Co Down on April 23 last.

Devidas Paliutis, aged 27, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Dublin last week and brought before Dublin District Court yesterday.

The judge granted legal aid and remanded the accused in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court, on May 12 next pending directions from the DPP.
