Top horses on display at Belgooly

Visitors were treated to a show of top class horses at last Saturday’s Belgooly Show which required lengthy deliberations before the judges could name their supreme horse champion.

In contention were John Joe’s Brother, the champion hunter shown by Val and Laura Hyde, Ballymacoda; Ballard Playboy, the champion young horse shown by Seamus Lehane from Clonakilty; Brookfield Miss Lux, the champion brood mare shown by Kieran O’Gorman, Clonakilty; and Brian Daly, Newmarket’s champion foal.
